On may 13th 2023 a special exhibition will open at Kalkman Gallery in Antwerpen, with works by Icy & Sot that I collected in the years when they lived and worked in Iran, before they moved to the USA in 2012. We know eachother for almost 15 years, have organized four exhibitions together (two in Amsterdam, two in New York) and I published their first monography at Lebowski Publishers in 2016. I love their early works, and have, over the years, assembled quite a collection - most of them works that have never been exhibited before. Thanks, good people of Kalkman, to arrange the possibility to show these precious works to the public.
